The Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology has announced the list of 2020 provincial-level new R&D institutions. The Laser and Optoelectronics Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute of Wenzhou University is among them, and it is also the only institute in Wenzhou City to win this title.
The Laser and Optoelectronics Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute of Wenzhou University focuses on laser optoelectronics and intelligent manufacturing technology, giving full play to the resource advantages of the government, universities, scientific research institutes, and industry enterprises. It also sets a good example in talent training and introduction, regional coordination, commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, technological innovation, and meeting enterprise R&D needs.
The Institute will continue to focus on six major tasks, including building a diversified innovation input system, gathering first-class innovative talent teams, undertaking major scientific research tasks, building a collaborative innovation system, unblocking commercialization channels for scientific and technological achievement, and integration into the global innovation network.
