Prof. Elchin Khalilov Awarded Wolfgang von Goethe Medal by EANS
The European Academy of Natural Sciences (EANS) announced the winners of the 2022 Wolfgang von Goethe Medal, and Professor Elchin Khalilov from the College of Life and Environmental Science of WZU was honored with the award for his outstanding scientific discoveries and achievements in global geological and environmental change research. This is one of the highest honors awarded by EANS to scholars who have made significant contributions to global natural science.
Professor Elchin Khalilov is a foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and in 2017, he was elected Chairman of the World Organization for Scientific Cooperation "Science without Borders". He has made significant contributions to the research of zeolite water processing and magnetized water technology for over 20 years.
In 2022, Professor Elchin Khalilov joined the College of Life and Environmental Science at WZU, and he will help promote the development of the discipline of Ecology, one of WZU’s featured discipline.
