Jiang Huite, a year-three postgraduate student studying mathematics at the College of Mathematics and Physics, has published a research paper titled “Trajectory statistical solutions and Liouville type theorem for nonlinear wave equations with polynomial growth” as the first author in Advance in Differential Equations.
Professor Zhao Caidi, Jiang’s supervisor points out that this article studies nonlinear wave equations with arbitrary growth exponents, and uses orbital attractors and natural translational semigroups to construct equations with statistical orbital solutions to further prove that the constructed orbital statistical solution is invariant and conforms to the Liouville-type theorem. In addition, her article also reveals that the invariant nature of the orbital statistical solution is a special case of the Liouville-type theorem.
