For example, the humid preparations were made by the staff teaching zoology. Mr. Ye Zhengchang and Mr. Zheng Hanmiao made some marine fish specimens. Professor Zhang Yongpu made specimens of cnidaria, annelids, and mollusks. Professor Ying Xueping made crustacean specimens; Professor Liu Jinsong checked and identified the specimens of birds and mammals prepared with taxidermy. In the early construction of the exhibition, Mr. Chen Yongshou, the researcher from the former Hangzhou University offered great help and guidance for the identification of marine invertebrate specimens.
