Post-epidemic era: more exchange student program explored
The exchange student program is conducive to expanding the vision of students and improving the education quality of universities. As Wenzhou University has long attached importance to enhancing students’ international engagement, on the afternoon of April 14, the International Relations Office of the university and the College of Mathematics and Physics jointly organized the lecture to introduce the exchange student program with Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). Zhang Kun, a staff at MUST was invited to talk about the program in detail, which was well received by the students.
During the presentation, Zhang Kun gave a general description of the difference on education between Macau and the mainland, and introduced the history of the university, its disciplines, and scientific research. The presentation was followed by Q&A sessions in which students asked questions about the program, academic courses and the life in Macau.
Zheng Ting, deputy director of the International Relations Office attended the presentation and introduced relevant policies for students attending exchange programs, especially the application for scholarships and funds. Zhang Zhitu, deputy party secretary of the College of Mathematics and Physics, also told the students to cherish the opportunity and shared his experience. Wang Yi, a student in the Class 2019 said that young people must diversify their experience, and she herself would actively participate in those programs.
